The gas tight self-adhesive membrane is produced in strips for detailing all gas resistant membrane systems, constructed from a polyethylene laminated aluminium with a self adhesive backing of bitumen- polymer adhesive compound.
Used as part of the ancillary products used in gas membrane systems as outlined in BBA certified Evolution, Evolution P-A and NSAI certified Rhinoplast Super & Rhinoplast Ultra Radon gas barrier systems for detailing and sealing laps, junctions, pipe & column penetrations and water proofing foundation and basement structures.
The gas resistant detail strip will require a bitumen primer to adhere to some surfaces (steel, concrete, masonry).
